In a significant development for Bangladesh’s energy sector, the Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has awarded a contract to APR Energy to produce and provide 300 MW of power as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) at a new facility in Pangaon, Keraniganj. This contract is part of BPDB’s larger initiative to deliver 2,000 MW of supplemental power to the country over the next five years, ensuring a reliable energy supply for the nation's growing demands.
